Anuha has participants who are seeking support workers to assist with participating in meaningful and creative activities and enhance their skills to achieve independent living.
These participants are seeking support from a support worker who is patient, a good listener and has respect for their choices. Someone who is mature with excellent communication skills.
The successful applicant will be willing to assist with everyday needs such as personal care, cooking, cleaning and household duties. Attending community events and activities is a highlight for these participants.
You will also have an understanding of positive behavior support and restrictive practices.
The following requirements will be an advantage:
* Valid work visa or Australian work authorisation is accepted for this position.
* Certificate III in Individual Support qualification
* NDIS Worker Screening Check must be obtained before commencement.
* A minimum of 1 years' experience in disability support is required.
* Candidates must hold a current full driver's license.
Pay rates are in accordance with the SCHADS Award.
