With a reputation built on trust, ethical performance, and operational excellence, they manufacture high-quality, shelf-stable products. *About the Role*Based in the Quality team, you will work closely with NPD to bring recent products into production, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive process improvements. You will apply your food technology expertise to ensure compliance, maintain customer standards, and support real-time problem solving on the production floor. Key responsibilities:***
- Collaborate with NPD to validate new product formulations and support smooth transition into production.
- Provide technical support on raw materials and packaging, including sustainability initiatives.
- Troubleshoot formulation, process, and quality issues in real time.
- Conduct line checks, in-process inspections, and investigate NCRs.
- Maintain and update product specifications, process instructions, and QA documentation.
- Partner with the Production team to enhance yields, efficiency, and consistency.
- Assist the QA Manager with audit preparation and compliance activities.
*About You*You are a qualified Food Technologist or Food Engineer with solid technical expertise and the ability to deliver timely, practical solutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are motivated by continuous improvement. *We're looking for someone who brings:*
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Science & Technology or Food Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in QA or Product Development within food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of FSANZ, GFSI systems, and organic certification.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work under pressure and maintain a team-first attitude.
