Occupational Therapist Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in an AHA role.
This position offers a unique opportunity for a new graduate to gain hands-on experience under the supervision of experienced therapists.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and adults with autism, complex physical disability, and assistive technology.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in managing client caseloads, working independently, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to be diligent, able to manage challenging work to a high standard, and enjoy working independently within a team.
Placement experience in paediatrics, disability, and neurological rehabilitation is advantageous, as is lived experience working or caring for children, disability, neurodiversity, or adversity.
You will also need to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, be optimistic, and advocate passionately for people with disabilities and young families.

1. Evidence of AHPRA submission or academic transcript for your relevant degree
