Job Overview
The role of Infection Control Coordinator involves contributing to maintaining infection prevention and control programs, ensuring safety and quality within the facility. As a key member of the clinical team, you will work closely with the Assistant Director of Clinical Services and other departments to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of Infection Control programs.
This position requires a high level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* AHPRA registration is required as a Registered Nurse.
* Previous experience in Infection Control or a strong desire to enhance and develop Infection Control skills is essential.
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
* Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office are necessary.
* You should be able to work as a motivated, enthusiastic, and positive role model for all clinical and non-clinical disciplines and services within the hospital environment.
