Our client is an award-winning, industry leader in the manufacturing sector, boasting an impressive 50-year legacy as a dedicated manufacturer and supplier to industry, with a focus on heavy transport. Based in Bayswater, Victoria, the company provides a comprehensive suite of services from third-party logistics, global sourcing, precision machining, expert fabrication, to meticulous assembly.
Due to retirement, the company is seeking a new Finance Administrator to join the team and ensure the effective and efficient day-to-day operations of the business.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the role requires strong organisational and planning skills to support various business functions, including finance, human resources, general office administration, while providing key support to the executive team.
The role is a full-time, permanent position, based on site in Bayswater.
Duties and Responsibilities
Execute general office administration duties, including data entry, costing, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Maintain and reconcile financial accounts, including bank reconciliations.
Support the entry and reconciliation of management accounts.
Support the preparation and lodgement of the Monthly BAS.
Review employee timesheets and process payroll, including superannuation.
Provide administrative support to Human Resources functions.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and employees.
Liaise with relevant external stakeholders, including support for Workcover-related matters.
Provide administrative support to the Executive Managers and wider management team as required.
Maintain and update company documents, policies, and procedures.
About You
Proven experience in administrative duties, preferably within a manufacturing, warehousing, logistics or similar business.
Proficiency using ECI M1 ERP System or similar.
Strong experience in processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Demonstrated experience in bank and financial account reconciliations.
Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word & Excel).
Technically proficient, with interest in new technology an advantage.
Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently.
Strong organisational skills with a keen ability to multi-task, prioritise, and learn quickly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Proactive and positive mindset.

Salary of $75,000 to $82,000 + Super commensurate with experience.
