**Private Patient Liaison Officer**
Private Patient Liaison Officers will be able to identify private and compensable patients throughout the Monash Health network. They will be able to have constructive discussions with health funds and assist patients with making a decision about the utilisation of their private health insurance within Monash Health. This assists in maximising the potential for additional revenue brought in by Monash Health.

- Mondays 0800-1630, Fridays 0800-1630 and Saturday mornings 0800-1200
- Ability to pick up extra shifts at our other main hospital campuses
- Monash Medical Centre Clayton and Dandenong Hospital
The Private Patient Liaison Officer will be responsible for increasing Monash Health's revenue by identifying potential private and compensable patients and assisting them in understanding the benefits of the utilisation of private health insurance during their stay within Monash Health. The Private Patient Liaison Officer will visit patients and clinical staff on our wards (including the Emergency Department) to obtain supporting documentation and identification and will then ensure that these patients are admitted under the correct classification. Located across all 6 major Monash Health sites, this role requires a great deal of teamwork and active contribution to continuous quality improvement in the delivery of the service.
