Sales and Business Development roles involve interacting with customers, promoting products, and driving sales.


Key Responsibilities:

* Customer Service/Sales

Deliver exceptional customer service by providing professional advice and demonstrations of our products in a friendly shopping environment.

Introduce the benefits and features of our merchandise to maximize sales through detailed product knowledge and add-on sales.

Maintain awareness of store layout, products, and stock availability to provide a seamless shopping experience.

Deal with customers efficiently, considering their needs, while handling complaints and inquiries tactfully according to Company Policy.

Process transactions professionally and follow Company Procedures.

Maintain awareness of sales promotions, incentives, and product brochures to stay up-to-date on the latest offerings.

Be aware of all sales figures, targets, and commissions on a daily/weekly basis to drive performance.

Take ownership of personal and team targets regarding sales and stock control, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Achieve customer service benchmarks, including Mystery Shopper results, to maintain high standards.

1. Stock Management/Merchandising

This role is core to inventory management and customer satisfaction.

Assist in unloading shipments, checking shipment accuracy, and processing deliveries according to policy to ensure timely receipt of goods.

Organize inventory in the stockroom and replenish stock on the sales floor as needed to maintain an efficient supply chain.

Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and support stock takes to identify areas for improvement.

Retrieve items from the stockroom at customer request, maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Utilize store emails and IVend management console/spreadsheets to log relevant information and track inventory movements.

Ensure backup stock and stockrooms are kept organized to prevent stockouts and optimize inventory levels.

Collaborate with managers and team members to prevent theft through proper inventory management.

Stay knowledgeable about all products (current and new) and selling benefits to drive sales growth.

Assist in layouts and maintenance of merchandising and internal displays to create an engaging shopping environment.

Action relevant Head Office communications to stay informed about company initiatives and policies.

Pack defective items and arrange for Goods Issue and reporting for return shipment to maintain efficient logistics.

Familiarize yourself with safety procedures in the stockroom, particularly when lifting and moving heavy items, to ensure a safe working environment.

Report issues or problems to the store manager to resolve promptly and minimize disruption.

Support cleaning up the store and stockroom during closing shifts to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Participate in monthly OH&S activities, including risk assessments, audits, and maintenance of stock trolleys/shelving and equipment, to ensure compliance with safety standards.
