Warehouse Operations Specialist
The Warehouse Supply Officer will work night shifts to assist in managing the warehousing and supply function across various facilities.
Responsibilities
* Implementing stock control procedures for warehouse storage areas
* Issuing goods to customers via direct issue and picking slips
* Coordinating and expediting stock orders
* Managing repairable stock items
* Maintaining accurate inventory records of stored locations
* Providing purchasing officer support as required
* Coordination of transport and logistics operations
* Loading and unloading delivery vehicles using equipment such as forklifts or telehandlers
* Ensuring cleanliness and organization in warehouse and yard areas
This role involves a combination of operational, logistical, and administrative tasks that require strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key performance indicators will be used to measure success in this position, with a focus on improving stock management efficiency, reducing errors, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Candidates should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
Previous experience in a similar role or a related field is highly desirable but not essential.
