Our Client:

Our client is a well-established family owned business supplying fresh quality products to hospitality venues across Cairns and the surrounding region. They are known for their reliability, efficiency, and commitment to supporting local restaurants, cafes, and food operators with timely and accurate service.

The Opportunity:

An opportunity exists for a Customer Order Processor to join the team on a part-time basis. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer orders are handled with precision and efficiency, supporting both day-to-day operations and the wider team. The successful candidate will bring strong administration experience, excellent attention to detail, and a positive, team-focused approach.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Receiving, reviewing, and accurately processing customer orders, ensuring information is correct and deadlines are met.
- Preparing and issuing picking slips, invoices, and dispatch documentation to support warehouse operations.
- Coordinating with internal teams to maintain effective communication and smooth workflow across departments.
- Liaising with customers to confirm details, provide updates, and resolve queries in a professional manner.
- Supporting compliance requirements, including assisting with food and quality safety systems.
- Delivering additional administrative support as required to ensure efficient business operations.

Your Skills & Experience:

- Previous experience in an administrative or order processing role.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability in managing data and documentation.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills with both internal teams and external customers.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and within a team environment.
- Flexibility to support early morning starts (5am) when covering leave periods.

- Part-time position, 3 days per week, 25 hours a week (early morning starts, have your afternoon free)
