We are seeking an experienced Glazier to join our team at Buildcraft where you'll play a key role in refurbishing company housing, public buildings, and social housing. Your work will directly impact the local community and communities in remote areas of Western Australia from Newman to Port Hedland and in between. So, a willingness to travel is a must. This role will be working out of Newman initially and then moving on to project renovations after 1 or 2 swings. Swings are either 2:1 or 2:2 with 10 hour days. The area covered is between Mount Magnet, Meekatharra, Newman, Tom Price and Port Hedland. FIFO & DIDO (on occasion in a company vehicle.)

To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum 2 years of experience as a Glazier, with a strong understanding of glass installation techniques and industry standards
2. A locksmith license would be well regarded. If not the ability to gain a locksmith license will be necessary
3. Glazier Trade Qualification (Certificate or Ticket)
4. – if you're not qualified, this role isn't for you
5. Measuring, cutting, and installing various types of glass, including windows, doors, mirrors, and specialty glass products
6. Performing glass repair and replacement services, including the removal and disposal of broken or damaged glass
7. Ensuring the safe and efficient handling of glass materials and equipment
8. Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients
9. Collaborating with the wider team to meet project deadlines and maintain high standards of workmanship
10. Adhering to all relevant safety procedures and regulations
11. The ability to use digital tools, to check emails and take photos of work
Skills and Experience required:
MUST HAVE POLICE CHECK DONE WITHIN THE PAST 6 M

3. The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small team.

6. The right to work in Australia.
7. Construction White Card.
8. Working at Heights Certificate (or willing to obtain).
9. Current drivers licence.
10. Good verbal and written communication skills.
11. Proficient with the use of power and hand tools.
12. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
13. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
14. Good communication and customer service skills
15. Own Tools preferred (but not essential)
