At Infinite Aged Care, our Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor (HSW) is a key member of the People & Culture team, driving the integration of health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives. Reporting to the WHS Manager, you will provide expert advice on all aspects of WHS, actively promoting a positive safety culture. This is a national role requiring travel to various sites.
Our Role
1. Participate in national initiatives to reduce risks related to injury trends and align with organisational strategic goals. Promote a proactive safety culture, identify safety trends, and lead improvements in safety standards.
2. Review current safety training practices, develop actionable initiatives to improve outcomes, and deliver training as needed.
3. Collaborate with operational leaders on incident reporting and investigations. Assist in reviewing incidents and hazards, staff follow-up, and regulatory notifications.
4. Support the development and implementation of wellbeing initiatives that align with organisational values and strategic goals, including psychosocial initiatives.
5. Assist in trend analysis, data reporting, and analytical reports within specified timeframes.
6. Manage administrative duties, operate safety systems, and monitor the WHS inbox regularly.
About You
* Degree or related tertiary qualification in WHS, with 3+ years in a WHS advisory role.
* Extensive knowledge of relevant WHS legislation and regulations.
* Proven skills in report writing and policy development.
* Strong communication skills, including the ability to lead, coach, influence, and drive outcomes.
* Ability to perform tasks safely, without risk of injury to yourself, colleagues, or residents.
* Capacity to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively.
* Availability to travel nationally as required.
* Current Police Check or ability to obtain one.
* Valid driver's license.
* Previous experience in healthcare is advantageous.
