You will have the opportunity to educate our students via public courses at St John venues and on-site industry courses on client premises.
While the primary focus will be on First Aid training, you will also have the opportunity to deliver Mental Health and/or WHS training if qualified.St John Ambulance (Queensland) delivers nationally recognised training and assessment on behalf of St John Ambulance Australia (RTO *****).
About YouThe ideal candidate will:We are seeking a professional trainer who has a sound first aid and healthcare skill set, and a flair for training.You must hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****, TAE*****) (or equivalent) plus have current knowledge, skills and experience in the VET sector and relevant industry background.At minimum you will hold HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and be willing to acquire accreditation to deliver specialist or advanced courses such as Education & Care, LVR, Advanced First Aid, Advanced Resuscitation and Occupational Skill Set.A minimum of 2 years' experience in delivering first aid training is desired.You will have (or ability to readily obtain) a current Drivers Licence, access to independent transport, a Working with Children positive notice blue card or exemption card, and a National Police Check.You must be able to provide evidence of holding full COVID-19 vaccination.Conditions of EmploymentIn the full-time role, you will be required to work 5 days per week with some infrequent delivery in evenings or on weekends.
