ICT Systems Administrator Role
The ICT Systems Administrator role involves developing and sustaining leading-edge technologies for defence projects.
As a member of the Mission Assurance Team, responsibilities include providing administrative support for bespoke ICT applications running on Linux operating systems and Cisco networks:
* Primarily Linux OS and bespoke applications support with limited Windows support;
* Cisco network support;
* Hardware and software incident/fault resolution management;
* Monitoring installations and improvements.
Experience/qualifications required include information and communications technology experience with a particular emphasis on Linux administration. Formal or self-taught tertiary or technical qualifications in ICT and/or Communications Engineering will be highly regarded. Additionally, strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to use initiative, prioritise, and work in a fast-paced environment within tight timeframes are also desired.
