About the role
We are now looking for a Sous Chef to join the team. Besk's food is simple, fresh and approachable – served in share-style plates.
Responsibilities include
* Ensuring all chefs are preparing, cooking and presenting dishes according to their station
* Demonstrating culinary methods and providing guidance on cooking best practices
* Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes
* Supporting the Head Chef by managing daily operations
* Ensuring all chefs are rotating, storing and organizing stock effectively
* Ensuring all chefs adhere to food hygiene and occupational health and safety measures
* Handling administrative tasks like scheduling, training, and ordering supplies
* Assisting the Head Chef with driving efficiency and creativity in the kitchen

Salary
$70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year plus super.
