As an Editor at Visual Domain, your job is to bring footage to life by crafting compelling stories that reflect our clients’ visions. Working closely with producers and under the guidance of the Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for editing, colour grading, sound mixing, and incorporating motion graphics.
This role calls for creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail. You’ll work with a variety of elements including footage from our crew, music, sound effects, stock footage, and graphics. You’re encouraged to bring fresh, innovative ideas to each project and contribute creatively from the outset.
Your work plays a key role in delivering a consistent, high-quality experience for clients and continuing to strengthen our partnerships. Time management, communication, and a drive to continuously improve are essential for success in this role.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Editing and post-production (colour, sound, graphics) under producer direction
2. Incorporating a wide range of creative assets
3. Suggesting fresh ideas to keep edits engaging
4. Applying feedback to your own and others’ work
5. Managing timelines and communicating proactively
6. Seeking feedback to grow and improve
Who are you?
1. Proficient in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
2. Proficient in sound mixing and color grading in Premiere, with experience of DaVinci Resolve being a plus
3. Strong time management and organisational skills
4. High attention to detail with a keen eye for visual storytelling
5. Proactive problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
6. Creative thinker who brings fresh ideas to each edit
7. Team player who can also work autonomously
8. Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and upskilling
9. Showreel demonstrating editing capabilities is essential
