To support additional project growth, we are seeking experienced FIFO HD Fitters/Mechanics (Prime Movers, Trailers & Earthmoving Equipment) to join the team on our Mt Magnet mine site operations.
We have 2 rosters to choose from : 8/6 or 2/1 (you choose)

You will join existing crews of Leading Hands, HD Fitters, Auto-Electricians, Boilermakers, Apprentice Fitters and a team of Service Personnel & Trades Assistants.
Job Offerings:
* Permanent full-time opportunity on a long-term project
* We offer $75 per hour plus superannuation on all hours worked (12)
* Roster choices available for you to select from: 8/6 or 2/1
* 2/1 roster - One way flight paid to any major Capital City in Australia to any major Capital City in Australia, as well as Newcastle, Townsville, Launceston & Burnie. We also offer one way flight to Bali, Thailand or Manila also.
* The 8/6 roster is offered as a Perth or Geraldton & surrounding areas only point of hire.

* Paid annual leave & sick pay
We also offer a DIDO option to Mt Magnet (3 hours from Geraldton) with paid mileage each swing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Focus on maintaining our Kenworth Fleet and Trailers whilst working on fitting duties on our Earthmoving Equipment (Komatsu), Service Trucks, LV's and other equipment as required
· Actively participate in promoting and upholding our positive approach to safety
· Respectful & honest communication with Leading Hands and your fellow team members
· Maintain compliance to service schedule and ensure compliance with all necessary paperwork
You will be responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of:
* Kenworth C509, C510 and T909
* Bruce Rock, Roadwest & Boomerang Trailers
* Komatsu WA500/600 & 900 Wheel Loaders
* Komatsu GD655 Graders
* Service Trucks
* Toyota Light Vehicles
To be considered for this role, successful applicants will possess or able to obtain the following:
· Prior experience in maintaining and servicing Kenworth Prime Movers & Trailers with Earthmoving Equipment in a Mining/Civil environment, especially with Loaders & Graders
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience maintaining Kenworth Prime Movers & Trailers in mining/civil environment is essential
· Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Komatsu earthmoving equipment, particularly loaders and graders
· Heavy Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification (Australian recognised)
· Air Conditioning qualification (if applicable)
· Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
· National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
· Must hold Australian full working rights
