Key Client Financial Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Client Financial Specialist to join our finance team.


Job Description:

As the Key Client Financial Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of our key clients. Your expertise in accounting and finance will be instrumental in analyzing revenue data, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to improve client profitability.

* Work closely with account management teams to improve client profitability by analyzing revenue data and providing insights on how to optimize billing and revenue recognition.
* Manage large volumes of invoices, ensuring all invoices are issued in line with client contracts and audit requirements.
* Reconcile WIP (work-in-progress) accounts, ensuring all jobs are accurately reflected and costs incurred are invoiced to clients in a timely manner.
* Ensure accurate revenue recognition, aligning with client contracts and accounting policies.
* Prepare monthly reports on financial performance by client, including profitability, variance analysis, and retainer reconciliations.
* Identify key drivers impacting margin and provide actionable recommendations to improve client profitability.
* Support account management teams by providing reporting and data as requested.
* Provide client financial analysis in the review of monthly results, comparing actuals to forecasts and highlighting areas for improvement.
* Participate in financial audits and provide support as needed.
* Maintain data integrity and ensure financial information used for decision-making is accurate and up-to-date.
* Track and challenge write-offs and over-servicing, working with account managers to minimize non-billable time.
* Gain and maintain knowledge of each applicable client contract.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Accounting or business degree qualification
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Strong Excel skills
* Experience with D365/Dynamics preferred
