The Intensive Care Unit at our regional hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Registrar or Principal House Officer to join their dynamic team.
Our hospital provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents, including several rural communities.
Full-time (80 hours per fortnight) and part-time (hours negotiable) fixed-term positions are available.

The Facility
Our facility is a prominent regional hospital that has recently undergone extensive redevelopment.
This redevelopment has introduced new patient beds, enhanced services within the rehabilitation unit, and the addition of a brand-new 24-hour emergency department, maternity unit, and special care nursery.
We offer a wide range of medical services, including intensive care, coronary care, obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedic surgery, general surgery, vascular surgery, emergency medicine, pharmacy, medical imaging, pathology, and comprehensive mental health services.
Additionally, we provide various allied health services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, speech therapy, psychology, and social work.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
* IMGs eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada, or Ireland)
* SIMGs assessed by CICM College as partially and Substantially comparable
* IMGs that have completed AMC MCQ (part 1) & English exams, with 4+ years of general medicine experience
