Due to growth in the Capability Lifecycle Manager (CLCM) program an exciting opportunity is now available for Procurement Officers based at Henderson WA or Cairns QLD.

The Procurement Officer is accountable to the Inventory Procurement Lead to support development and proactive management of the procurement requirements across the vessels lifecycle – underpinning the availability of the ships to Navy.
Key Responsibilities:
4. Ability to apply procurement practices in a Defence supply chain environment.
5. Manage procurement through to delivery, ensure delivery of supply to the required schedule, scope and quality
6. Being comfortable with technology and systems, you will work to maintain data integrity of the inventory management systems and logistics databases in support of Program requirements.
7. Working with the SPO Inventory Team to ensure the efficient procurement and repair of inventory to maintain the established stock levels.
8. Support to audit and quality assurance controls across the procurement function to ensure compliance to policy.
9. Contribute to performance management against key performance indicator and performance reporting.
10. Maintain Raytheon Australia’s export control compliance across all Material Support functions.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
11. Practical commercial acumen, in particular in sourcing, quotations, orders, supplier engagement and delivery management.
12. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a procurement role. Experience within a Defence environment preferred.
13. Computer literacy including the use of inventory management systems, eg SAP, Maximo, EAGLE or MILIS, Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
14. MILIS profile competencies: (Highly Desirable) PurchasingSupply Customer Account Clerk/Manager
