Salary: Is competency-based, with a range depending on qualifications and competencies, including allowances and benefits as detailed below.
C10 - C7: $85,075 - $91,920 plus superannuation, inclusive of an annualised allowance W415 - $14,034. Attraction and retention allowance of $5,105 - $5,515 until 15 March 2027. What We Are Looking For We seek an experienced Electrical / Instrument Technician to maintain water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, supporting safety, asset reliability, and operational capacity.

Typical Daily Responsibilities Technical assessments of electrical and instrumentation assets. Supporting the principal electrician with administrative tasks. Performing maintenance and inspections for safety and reliability. Diagnosing complex control systems and equipment. Providing technical guidance to colleagues. Qualifications and Skills Needed Electrical trade qualification at Certificate III (AQF 3) or above. Computer literacy and understanding of telemetry systems. Confined Space Certification (or ability to obtain). Immunizations for Hepatitis A, B, and Tetanus (or ability to obtain). Current White Card. Safety awareness and interpersonal skills. Valid 'C' class driver's license. Preferred Additional Qualifications Additional Instrumentation trade qualification (or opportunity to obtain). EEHA certification. Working at Heights certification. Experience with telemetry systems. Experience in water/wastewater treatment facilities.
