Are you energised by connecting people with a cause that truly matters? As our Philanthropy Coordinator, you'll play a key role in bringing supporters closer to the life‐changing research happening at The Kids Research Institute Australia.
You'll be the heartbeat of our philanthropy operations – ensuring every donor feels valued, every interaction is meaningful, and every project runs smoothly. From coordinating inspiring events to crafting thoughtful donor experiences, your work will directly help grow a community of people who believe in better futures for kids. You'll collaborate closely with our Philanthropy Lead, Gift in Wills Lead, Philanthropy Manager and the wider Development team, becoming a trusted partner in delivering exceptional stewardship and supporter care.
Based in our modern offices within Perth Children's Hospital, this full‐time role will be offered on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare donor acknowledgements, receipts, thank‐you letters, and stewardship materials.
* Maintain accurate donor records and contact reports.
* Support pipeline tracking and forecasting through accurate data entry.
* Assist with logistics for small donor events (under 20 guests), tours, briefings, and stewardship activities.
* Support individual giving campaigns with data, segmentation, and donor care.
About You
The successful candidate will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business or a related field, or have proven experience in a similar role. You will also demonstrate:
* Minimum two‐three years' experience in an administrative, coordination or customer focused role, ideally within a not‐for‐profit organisation or similar.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Superior people skills – caring, consultative, collaborative and collegial – with the ability to develop strong relationships and a genuine interest in meeting people and developing their connection to cause.
* Strong project management skills (prioritisation, organisation).
* Highly developed digital literacy with CRM experience – preferably Salesforce or similar.
