Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced researcher to join our team as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow/Research Fellow in Digital Sewers. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data-processing methods to assess sewer operations and support predictive, real-time control. They will also develop and optimize code and digital-twinning platforms with industry partners, produce high-quality research outputs and reports, contribute to funding applications, and deliver training workshops and demonstrations for technical staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Expert knowledge and experience in modelling and control in water and/or wastewater systems
* Software engineering and coding expertise relevant to integration of machine learning and mechanistic models
* Quality research outputs: produces research outputs consistent with discipline norms
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative research team
* Ability to work productively with industry collaborators
