Overview
Midwifery leadership position delivering variety and growth within our Maternity Service. Relocation support will be negotiated if considering a move across the ocean to Tasmania.
The Role
* Provides leadership to the Maternity Services at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH).
* Ensures the efficient and effective provision of care, based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework by coordinating the clinical, management, education, and midwifery & nursing research functions within the Maternity Services.
* Leads and manages the coordination of overall patient care and is responsible for managing the allocated human, material, and financial resources for service delivery within the Maternity Services.
Details of appointment
Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary
$134,109 to $140,384 per annum. Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.

Qualifications
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Midwife.
* Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.
* Desirable: additional experience in midwifery leadership and management.
