Job Title: Community Support Worker
As a Community Support Worker, you play a vital role in providing direct support to clients in their own homes or as stipulated in their support plans. Your primary responsibility is to deliver personal care, housekeeping support, shopping, respite, and social support.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families. You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure that each client receives high-quality care and support tailored to their individual needs.
* Provide active companionship and emotional support to clients in their own homes
* Complete housekeeping tasks as agreed upon with clients
* Administer medications only as specified in the client's care plan
* Promote and foster independence among clients
* Transport clients to various appointments
* Complete paperwork or upload changes to the system
* Report any observed changes in clients or their home environments
Key Qualifications:
* Enrolled and commenced a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Disability, Home and Community)
* Current First Aid certification
