Ecology Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Ecology Specialist to join our team. As an Ecology Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering diverse projects including impact assessment, offsetting projects, and monitoring programs.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in ecology and biodiversity to contribute to the success of our team.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in ecology or a related field, along with practical experience in undertaking field-based surveys, data analysis and reporting.
Requirements:
* A relevant Bachelor-level university degree in ecology or environmental science;
* Practical experience of 1-3 years undertaking field-based surveys, data analysis and reporting;
* Experience in preparing ecological reports such as impact assessments, BDARs, FFAs, or input into monitoring programs;
* Knowledge of NSW and Commonwealth environmental legislation and planning policies;
* Vegetation community identification skills within NSW would be an advantage, along with botanical skills or fauna identification skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team of professionals;
