Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Podiatrist, based in Karratha, WA. The Podiatrist will provide comprehensive podiatric care, including diagnosis and treatment of foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions. Daily tasks will include conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, fitting orthotics, and providing education on foot care, particularly related to diabetes. The Podiatrist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated health services to the community.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Podiatry, including diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions
* Knowledge in Biomechanics and Orthotics
* Experience in Diabetes management as it relates to foot care
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Current registration with the relevant professional body
* Experience in rural or community healthcare settings is a plus
