About the role
Being a Student Support Officer, you be responsible for providing administrative services for a range of student support programs relating to external school examinations in NSW Higher School Certificate.
This role is a part time role working two (2) days per week, with the days being flexible.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:
·Providing a range of administrative and support services, including records management, routine correspondence, and meeting / event coordination
·Responding to first level enquiries, and escalating as required
·Communicating with relevant stakeholders on disability provisions and appeals processes
·Maintaining records and databases, and ensuring information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.
At the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) we work with the NSW community to drive improvements in student achievement.
We achieve this by supporting all school sectors with high-quality syllabuses, assessment (including managing the HSC and NAPLAN), teaching standards (, accrediting teachers) and school environments (including setting and monitoring school standards).
