Yulong Investments is a leading Victorian Thoroughbred Stud situated in the Nagambie area. We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Full Time Farm Hand to join our team.
The successful applicant will be dependable and self-motivated, enjoy working as part of a team, demonstrate a strong work ethic and have previous experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tractor and machinery work.
* Assisting with fencing.
* Spraying and land preparation.
* General farm and garden duties.
* Assist with care and management of livestock.
* Routine maintenance of farming equipment and machinery.
* Assisting with irrigation and water systems.
* Comply with all workplace health and safety and equal employment opportunity initiatives to contribute to a safe, healthy, equitable and ethical workplace.
* Work in accordance with management directions.
What we're looking for:
* Experience driving heavy machinery.
* Use of GPS Equipment (preferred but not essential).
* Cattle experience (preferred but not essential).
* Knowledge of Irrigation.
* Problem solving mindset.
* Attention to detail when completing tasks.
* A passion for agriculture and a good attitude.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
* Full driver's license.
* Full working rights in Australia.
