Water Testing Laboratory Manager Job Description
The Water Testing Laboratory Manager will be responsible for leading the daily operations of our water testing laboratory, including scheduling and workflow optimization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in microbiology and chemistry, with experience in conducting water chemistry testing and developing analytical methods.
* Manage daily lab operations, including scheduling and workflow optimization.
* Conduct a range of microbiological and basic chemical analyses, such as pH, turbidity, conductivity, spectrophotometry.
* Develop and validate analytical methods to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
* Maintain and enhance ISO 17025 and NATA accreditation.
* Write and review SOPs, technical documentation, and QA/QC records.
* Train and supervise junior staff.
* Ensure safety and quality procedures are rigorously followed.
