Job Overview
This role involves delivering clinical primary health care services at remote clinic sites and headspace, including emergency care and telehealth clinics.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop high-quality health services, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.
This role includes travel to various remote communities and active participation in local health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver clinical primary health care services at remote clinic sites and headspace
* Engage in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to the improvement of clinical practices
* Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, fostering a supportive learning environment
* Participate in community health programs and contribute to clinical leadership within the organisation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
1. Current AHPRA registration with no conditions
2. Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM)
3. Experience in managing emergencies in remote settings and strong interpersonal skills
4. Understanding of Aboriginal culture and effective communication skills with Aboriginal people
5. A valid
