**Procurement Manager: A Strategic Leader**
This is a full-time, permanent position that offers the opportunity to drive significant cost savings, operational efficiency, and supplier performance.
The successful candidate will develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies, manage high-value contracts, and build key supplier partnerships that support ambitious growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop strategic procurement plans to achieve optimal value, quality, and risk mitigation across all spend categories.
* Lead supplier identification, evaluation, and performance management processes.
* Build strategic partnerships with key vendors and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and competitive advantages.
Tendering and Contract Management:
* Manage end-to-end tender processes, RFQ administration, and competitive sourcing activities.
* Negotiate complex supplier contracts and service agreements with legal and finance teams.
* Maintain central contract register and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
Purchasing Operations and Compliance:
* Oversee daily purchasing operations ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement across all departments.
* Implement procurement policies and compliance frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements.
* Provide procurement expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders organisation-wide.
About You:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
* Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management roles.
* Proven track record in supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and strategic procurement.
* Strong experience with tender management, RFQ processes, and contract administration.
* Knowledge of procurement principles, contract law, and supplier relationship management.
* Demonstrated success in delivering cost savings and operational efficiency.
* Advanced skills in procurement systems, ERP platforms, and data analysis (Excel, PowerBI).
* Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
* Commercial acumen with budget management and financial analysis experience.
* Knowledge of compliance frameworks and ethical procurement practices.
* Experience in fast-paced environments (sports, entertainment, or media industry preferred).
* Professional certifications (CIPS, CIPSA) highly regarded.
