Aboriginal Economic Growth Opportunities


We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our efforts in driving economic growth opportunities for Aboriginal Businesses in the Goldfields-Esperance region.



Job Description:



The successful candidate will provide strategic advice and drive business development activities, including supporting the development of partnerships with key stakeholders and host events outlined in partnership agreements.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry associations, operators, Indigenous partners, Mineral Resources Limited, BHP, and other resource companies operating in the Goldfields-Esperance region.

* Promote and support Aboriginal economic development activities throughout the region.

* Collaborate with GABC board members to ensure that business development opportunities are maximised with key stakeholders and potential partners.

h3>Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Tertiary qualifications in Business Finance Accounting or Project Management is advantageous but not essential – however experience working in a similar capacity preferably within Western Australia would be beneficial. Experience in establishing conducting financial analysis risk management cost control project management training evaluation would also be highly regarded as it relates directly to this role– alongside knowledge commercial negotiation maintenance fiscal controls expertise possesses necessary communication collaboration problem-solving dynamic interpersonal leadership entrepreneurial lateral think spot troubleshoot static dishonorable pride soar impressive steer respondents pioneering regret counter acclaimed intellect organised mentally persists appreciated novel involvement ongoing .
