The Opportunity
This role offers a varied scope of practice across general practice, emergency, and hospital care. The clinic has five consulting rooms, a nursing room, treatment room, and physiotherapy onsite. You'll work with a supportive team of nurses, allied health staff, and visiting specialists, with seamless collaboration between Ochre Medical Centre Brewarrina and Brewarrina Multipurpose Service Hospital to ensure continuity of care and a real impact on patient outcomes.
About the Practice & Hospital
Ochre Medical Centre Brewarrina is central to local healthcare, coordinating closely with Brewarrina MPS Hospital. Services include:
* Emergency Department (ED): 24-hour emergency care
* Acute Care Beds: 8 beds including general medicine and palliative care
* Residential Aged Care: 12 beds for long-term care
* Palliative Care: Integrated into inpatient and aged care services
* Community & Allied Health Services: Renal dialysis (7 chairs), medical imaging (x-ray), and primary/community health programs

What We're Looking For
* Vocationally Registered GP (FRACGP or FACRRM)
* Recent emergency or VMO experience preferred
