Are you passionate about working with engines and technology? We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role.


About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to undertake a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR31120) and gain practical experience with a global leader in engine technology.

* This is a fantastic opportunity to become a fully qualified Cummins Technician, learn from experienced professionals, and work on a range of our world-class Cummins engine products.
* You will receive structured on-the-job training, under the supervision of our Regional Capability Trainers, as well as the qualified technicians and supervisors in your workshop.


Responsibilities

As a Cummins Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Cummins engines and products. You will also have the opportunity to rotate through different departments to gain experience on automotive, industrial, marine, and mining engine products.

* Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
* You will work closely with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

* excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team;
* excellent level of language, literacy, and numeracy skills;
* a willingness to work across regional areas;

Qualifications
