We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to lead our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions across our established retirement villages portfolio. Based at our Melbourne office, this role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency and integrity of our financial operations while guiding a high‐performing team of Finance Analysts.

In this role, you will manage resident billing and monthly service fee charges, manage debt recovery, oversee vendor invoice processing, and ensure smooth payment cycles and reconciliations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to optimise cash flow, strengthen financial controls, and support the delivery of reliable transactional support for our villages.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Support, your responsibilities will include:

* Leading and mentoring a team of Finance Analysts across AP and AR functions to drive high performance
* Overseeing accurate and timely resident billing and fee collection across all retirement villages
* Ensuring revenue processes are efficient, compliant, and well-governed
* Supervising the end‐to‐end processing of vendor invoices
* Managing payment cycles to support timely and accurate supplier payments
* Ensure AP reconciliations are completed accurately, with discrepancies resolved quickly and proactively
* Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure efficiency & consistency in both payables and receivables processing.
* Resolving escalated issues in a timely and customer‐focused manner
* Championing strong governance and continuous improvement across transactional finance services
* Managing cyclical people processes such as performance reviews, remuneration discussions, and development planning.
* Embedding a culture of constructive feedback, continuous improvement, and accountability.

Who You Are

The successful candidate will have the following:

* Degree in Business/Commerce with a major in Accounting or Finance
* CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent)
* Strong experience leading and developing teams
* Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Minimum 7 years' experience in management reporting, financial reporting, FP&A or a related field
* Demonstrated success collaborating with finance and non‐finance stakeholders, including senior executives
* Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Advanced Excel skills
* Ability to work independently, solve problems effectively, and adapt in a fast‐changing environment
