* Teaching Years 5 – 9 Music
* Teachers with an additional teaching subject will be highly regarded, and full‐time opportunities may be available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging classroom Music lessons across Middle Years
* Conduct and direct choral ensembles, fostering high standards across a range of music styles
* Design innovative curriculum and incorporate music technology to enhance learning
* Support student creativity in performance and composition
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop programs that celebrate diversity and excellence in Music
* Uphold MGGS's commitment to child safety in all aspects of teaching and school life
About You:
* Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration. Early career teachers are encouraged to apply.
* Demonstrated expertise in classroom Music education, with experience teaching Years 5–9
* Strong choral conducting skills across a range of styles
* Strong piano accompanying skills
* Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students in performance and creative work
* Skilled at using digital tools and music technologies to enrich learning
* Collaborative, inclusive, and committed to developing meaningful musical experiences
