**Job Title:** Senior Electrical Designer
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Designer to join our team. As a key member of our electrical design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Lead EIC Designer in developing and reviewing electrical designs and related documentation.
* Interface with other disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Develop and maintain strong competencies in MicroStation / Smart 3D for 2D Design, 2D Design Layouts, 3D Modelling, and iron ore handling plant design.
* Track deliverable status and provide regular progress updates to project leadership.
* Apply client standards to develop effective solutions.
* Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
* Provide mentoring and guidance to less experienced engineers/designers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A completed Tertiary engineering degree recognized by Engineers Australia.
* Relevant industry experience with eligibility for MIEAust membership.
* EEHA qualifications and design experience.
* In-depth understanding of Functional Safety practices and solutions.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
