About the role:
For you, as our Purchasing Coordinator, exceeding our client expectations means building a great relationship with our suppliers, improving efficiencies in management of our supply chain and ensuring best price and on time delivery of materials for our manufacturing divisions.
Working from our Roma Facility, you will be responsible for the purchasing, planning and scheduling of goods and services required to fulfil our manufacturing requirements in a cost-effective and efficient manner. This is an imperative role directly supporting day‑to‑day operational activities at each of our sites and we'll be relying on you to ensure the best quality and price for the goods and services purchased.

Responsibilities will include:
* Enter purchase orders into ERP system and send to vendor.
* Follow up purchase orders to ensure that they are delivered to the right place at the right time.
* Receive, verify, process and record purchase requisitions for goods and services.
* Daily monitoring of shared purchasing email inbox and purchase order suggestion list.
* Contact suppliers to obtain information on price, quality and delivery capabilities for the goods/services required.
What we'll be looking for in you:
* Minimum certificate III in Business Administration is preferred or relevant experience.
* Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in financial, purchasing, and administrative activities preferred but not required.
* Demonstrated experience in establishing strong supplier relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work unsupervised as well as being a team player.
* High attention to detail.
* Experience in an MRP/ERP system highly desirable.
