HVAC Site Manager
Tier 1 Mechanical Contractor, Major Projects
The Opportunity
A national Tier 1 mechanical contractor is expanding its Western Australian operations and is looking to appoint two HVAC Site Managers to support several major commercial projects commencing shortly.
These projects include hospital, university and defence facilities, with mechanical packages typically valued between $10M and $30M. You will lead large site teams delivering complex HVAC installations and play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. Importantly, these roles are part of the company's long term growth strategy, with clear pathways into Project Management and Project Controls as the WA business continues to scale.

This contractor operates nationally and has established a strong reputation delivering complex mechanical services across major infrastructure and commercial developments.
The WA business has grown rapidly in recent years and is projected to increase revenue by more than 300% compared to four years ago. As project scale continues to grow, the company is investing in experienced site leaders to support its next stage of expansion.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead site teams including leading hands, HVAC technicians, apprentices and subcontractors
* Coordinate installation activities across large mechanical services packages
* Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
* Monitor and report progress against schedule, cost and quality targets
* Maintain accurate site records and work in progress documentation
* Participate in planning, coordination and project review activities
* Mentor apprentices and junior technicians on site
About You
* Strong experience leading HVAC installation teams on commercial or industrial projects
* Proven ability to manage teams of 20 plus personnel on site
* A visible commitment to safety leadership and best practice site culture
* Experience delivering mechanical packages on major construction projects
* Strong communication skills and ability to build positive client relationships
* Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera
* Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools including Teams and Excel
* Flexible to travel or work away from home where project requirements demand
Licences and Requirements
* WA Mechanical Licence preferred
* White Construction Card
* Ability to obtain National Police Clearance
* Ability to pass a pre employment medical
