Role
The available role would support participants with a complex mental health diagnosis. The role is largely in isolation with participants and requires demonstrated experience in the following:
* Supporting people with challenging behaviours including epilepsy and Prader Willi Syndrome
* Supporting people with complex trauma
* Restrictive practices training
* Mealtime management
Location: Spring Farm, NSW
Employment: Permanent Part-Time (10 hours per week)
Remuneration: $34.58 per hour + casual loading + super + salary packaging
Responsibilities
* Helping participants explore their interests and hobbies through a range of programs and recreational activities.
* Transporting participants to events and appointments.
* Admin duties such as completing progress notes, charts and incidental reports.
* Providing personal care including toileting, showering, dressing and feeding as required.
Essential Criteria
* Supporting people with challenging behaviours such as epilepsy and Prader Willi Syndrome.
* Ability and willingness to provide personal care and support activities of daily living in a residential setting.
* Current driver licence (minimum P2).
* Satisfactory background checks including NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Minimum 4 days of availability for a 24/7 roster.
* Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR (HLTAID011).
* Certificate 3 in Individual Support or related (desirable).
* Have personal mobile device that meets our system requirements, typically a device released in the last three years.
