About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Supervisor – Traffic Control to oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of traffic management services across multiple sites. This role is responsible for supervising traffic control crews, ensuring compliance with Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS), and maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and client satisfaction.
You will play a key role in workforce coordination, incident management, and ensuring works are delivered in line with WHS legislation and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and support traffic control crews across multiple job sites
* Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with approved Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS)
* Coordinate rosters, crew allocations, and last‑minute coverage to meet operational demands
* Conduct site visits, audits, and toolbox talks to maintain safety and compliance
* Investigate incidents, near misses, and non‑conformances, implementing corrective actions
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding service delivery
* Monitor staff performance, attendance, and adherence to procedures
* Support onboarding, training, and competency management of traffic control staff
* Complete reports and provide operational feedback to management
About You
* Demonstrated experience in traffic control supervision or operations
* Strong understanding of WHS requirements and traffic management practices
* Ability to interpret and enforce Traffic Guidance Schemes
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage reliability and performance
* Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required
* Competent with reporting systems and basic administration
Desirable (but not essential):
* Traffic Controller / Implement Traffic Management Plan qualifications
* Previous experience dealing with RMS / TMR / council or major contractors
