Production Supervisor

The role of the Production Supervisor involves overseeing the daily operations of a manufacturing facility during the afternoon shift. This includes ensuring that all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the food production industry, with strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Production Management: Oversee the production process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
* Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels and implement effective inventory control measures.
* Logistics: Oversee the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate distribution of finished products.
* Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of production and warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members for continuous improvement.
* Maintenance and Safety: Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning, coordinating with maintenance teams as needed, and implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
* Process Improvement: Analyse production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Procurement, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

About You:

* You must have minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse operations.
* Prior experience in a similar role within the food production industry is preferred.
* You should possess strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
* You should be proficient in inventory management and warehouse operations.
* You should have excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* You should have effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* You should have knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
* You must have the right to work in Australia and be willing to undergo a criminal history check.
