Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Optimizer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing/FMCG and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in CAD software and data analysis tools is also essential.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and support continuous process enhancements. This includes teams from Maintenance, Operations, NPD, Sales and Demand Planning.
About the Role
* Analyze, design, and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
* Monitor process performance and implement changes to enhance productivity and quality.
* Develop process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
* Perform root cause analysis and problem-solving for production issues and quality concerns.
* Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Maintenance teams to support new product development and process scale-up.
* Lead and participate in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
* Provide technical support and training to production staff.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Proven ability as a natural leader with excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
* Experience in managing projects with tangible outcomes.
* Sound knowledge of product costings, structures, and drivers.
