The Role
We are seeking a Storeperson / Delivery Driver to join our Lindsay Rural team in Adelaide.
The Storeperson is responsible for receiving all stock for the area and ensure that it is stored and supplied in line with business requirements and counter / store front sales and service.
Additionally, this role will drive the truck to deliver and unload merchandise to rural worksites
A Hybrid Role, The Primary Duties Will Include
- Stock control and receiving of goods.
- Stock distribution, storing and preparing for dispatching.
- Loading and unloading trucks (forklift)
- Counter / store front sales and service.
- Deliver and unload merchandise to rural worksites.
- Record chemicals as per Lindsay Rural procedures.
- General store duties as required.
About you:
The Candidates We Are Looking For Will Have
- A current unrestricted manual HR Licence.
- Current and valid Forklift ticket.
- Prior experience in a similar role or industry.
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
- A positive attitude with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- The ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Have a commitment to workplace health and safety.
To be successful for this role applicants must:
- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test.
- Be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and getting in and out of the truck.
- Able to work in and around chemical, fertilizer, nutrient and packaging.
