The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of assets across the fleet and equipment, developing asset optimisation initiatives by working with frontline operations in identifying functional requirements, analyzing data for insights, and conducting external market research and competitor benchmarking.

Key Responsibilities:

* Model asset scenarios to optimize type, configuration, quantity, and location in line with strategic business objectives.
">
* Build vendor relationships in collaboration with procurement, managing manufacturers, dealers, lease agents, and repairers.
">
* Oversee logistics asset performance by ensuring alignment with strategy, assessing asset relocation/divestment, and generating regular reports and insights.
">
* Ensure fleet maintenance effectiveness with independent oversight, preventative maintenance planning, and supplier performance management.
">
* Lead change and capital programs, including heavy vehicle fleet replacement, maintenance tenders, in-truck compliance tech, and customer tank solutions, whilst driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
">
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics/Transport or Supply Chain field are essential. The ideal candidate should have experience in Supply chain / Operations management and Asset Management, with a strong understanding of transport operations, safety and compliance requirements.
