Your opportunity
* The Acute Care Team provides triage, assessment and brief interventions to assist consumers experiencing difficulties due to acute mental health concerns.
* Following triage, the most appropriate care type is determined including inpatient, community or crisis interventions.
* The purpose of the role is to provide high level clinical, specialised mental health and psychology assessment, counselling and brief intervention to mental health consumers within a multidisciplinary community mental health Acute Care Team.
* The position is responsible for providing consultancy, education and supportive or therapeutic programs for individuals and specific target groups.
* The position utilises broad therapeutic knowledge and clinical skills to independently manage a complex case load, including the ability to effectively analyse and make clinical decisions to deliver a range of evidence‐based therapeutic interventions.
Remuneration and benefits
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $157,360 p.a., comprising salary between $128,169 - $137,918 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
