The Casino Food Company is a leading export food processor with production facilities at Casino and Booyong, near Lismore, in the Northern Rivers area of the NSW Far North Coast.
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Work Health & Safety team as a Trainee WHS Advisor on a permanent full-time basis where no two days will be the same. This entry-level role is perfect for someone eager to develop their skills and knowledge in the WHS field.
In this role, you will work closely with our experienced WHS team and report to the WHS Manager. You'll receive on-the-job training and mentorship while gaining hands-on experience across a range of WHS activities across engineering, warehousing, manufacturing, food processing and livestock. As part of your development, you will also complete a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
We're seeking a motivated individual who:
* Have a genuine interest in Work Health and Safety
* Is comfortable using computers and willing to learn new systems
* Can work independently and follow instructions
* Is well-organised with strong attention to detail
* Has a positive attitude and eagerness to develop new skills
Preferred but not essential:
* General knowledge of WHS procedures
* Basic computer and software skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, etc.)
* Good communication and teamwork abilities
* Excellent problem-solving skills
