Our client, a Federal Agency, is looking for an APS6 Level - Instructional Designer to join their team. The position is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will be required to provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.
You will be working full time hours, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm in Adelaide with a competitive pay rate of $60.26 + Superannuation.
As an APS6 Level - Instructional Designer you will be:
- Strategically consulting with a wide range of stakeholders and supporting the development of training content, on the job components and elements that support best practice 70:20:10 solutions.
- Providing recommendations and developing solutions covering a wide area of capability design and development activities, including learning needs and performance gap analyses, relationship management, learning design and facilitation.
- Undertaking consultation across the Agency, developing a range of eLearning and innovative learning solutions.
- Managing projects and processes, including the development and ongoing maintenance of a portfolio of learning solutions and content.
- Providing a high level of instructional design capability in the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of learning solutions including:
- eLearning
- face to face content such as facilitator guides and learner guides/workbooks
- self-paced guides
- on-the-job learning tools and best practice blended solutions that may include Videos on Demand (VoDs), Virtual classrooms, etc.
- Developing and monitoring accessible training packages that meet WCAG2.0 AA standards.
- Collaborating and building productive partnerships with stakeholders to ensure solutions are appropriately evaluated, feedback is incorporated and solutions remain effective, responsive and relevant.
- Undertaking procurement and coordination of external programs, managing learning content and delivery by external providers.
- Facilitating content via train the trainer processes or upskilling of other facilitators on the content of the material.
- Managing and coaching less experienced team members on instructional design processes and delivery of learning solutions.
- One of the APS6 positions will have a project-focus, building the Agency's** First Nations Cultural Inclusion Capability** learning package.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence
- Demonstrated experience developing a range of learning solutions using varying learning formats
- Cultural competency, including knowledge and/or experience of safe and inclusive stakeholder engagement
- Strong written communication skills
