What You Will Do
- You take ownership of the region’s growth and retention strategy, including volume targets and margin setting, strategic customer planning, and implementing and maintaining a structured call cycle and sales pipeline.
- Maintain a high level of customer-focused activity, including visiting key customers on-site; you do not primarily operate from an office.
- Deliver market-leading service and support to Elgas’ high-value commercial customers in your region.
- Generate new business, identify, develop, and commercialize new customers for Elgas.
- Move customers through the sales process by selling Elgas’ value, using negotiation and objection handling to achieve win/win outcomes for Elgas and the customer.
- Collaborate with local branch staff, sales teams, and industry stakeholders to build a supporting network.
- Maintain relevant data in our system and produce reports that demonstrate your knowledge and strategic plan for your region.
What Makes You Great
- Demonstrated sales experience from any industry – LPG experience is not required; full training is provided.
- Strong customer service orientation, motivation to achieve high daily activity, and a passion for sales.
- Enjoy being out of the office, proactive, self-starter with positive time management; company vehicle and tools provided.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, strong personal presentation, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and strong time management.
- Aspiring to own your region’s success, responsible for significant customer revenue, and motivated to close deals.
- Clean and valid driver’s license is a must have.
