K Care Healthcare Solutions is the manufacturing division of Country Care Group.
We are one of the largest and most respected manufacturers and suppliers of medical and in-home aids for people living with disability, mobility impairments and the aged.
We are looking for a people-person guru to take on the role of Business Development Manager who will service our Queensland re-sellers and distributors.
Our main Distribution Centre is located in Lytton and the successful candidate is expected to work from this site as a home base.
The Business Development Manager will deliver excellence in customer service through the provision of sales advice/guidance of mobility and healthcare equipment.
They will actively build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the industry to build a brand of choice and achieve sales growth in line with company growth strategy, sales goals and KPIs.
A National Police Check is required for this role.
Responsibilities
Uphold company values of Integrity, Respect, Leadership, Passion and Accountability through all interactions with clients, staff and key stakeholders.
Regularly engage clients using Microsoft Teams, Skype or other online methods.
Regularly travel to meet with re-sellers and distributors within the designated region.
Occasionally required to travel overnight.
Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, occupational therapists and staff at health care facilities to deliver excellence in the supply of products and services.
Actively create business development opportunities that lead to client growth and company sales growth.
Quickly develop product knowledge to offer specialist product advice.
Demonstrate the benefit of available products.
Identify market growth opportunities and initiate business growth strategies to drive sales results.
Build company brands and services by supporting marketing strategies and campaigns.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels to ensure a positive team culture.
Ensure professional communications are maintained at all times with internal and external parties and all customer inquiries are followed up in a timely manner.
Work in collaboration with the HR and marketing team to develop internal training programs for sales team members.
Deliver internal training sessions to sales teams.
Follow work health and safety policies and procedures.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Adhere to quality control policies and procedures.
Undertake training and other duties as required.
Qualifications
Industry experience highly regarded.
Proven track record in sales and relationship management.
Physically fit, able to regularly move equipment in and out of vehicles for product presentations at expos/in-store and in-store education.
Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
Organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
Ability to work well within a team and independently.
Minimum 3 years of experience working in sales.
Unrestricted driver's licence.
Ability to travel regularly.
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Reliable, trustworthy, flexible and dependable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop collaborative relationships.
Willingness to undertake a National Police Check.
Right to work in Australia.
Knowledge of healthcare and mobility equipment advantageous.
